The username is limited to 3-12 characters.
Is there any reason why I can't increase that to say 25 characters to inlcude spaces?

I have the multi-user version purchased in june 99.

There is nothing wrong with your question. It is just that I overlooked your question. Please accept my most sincere apologies.

In protect_form subroutine change size to the one you want
<input name="user" size=10>

As for including spaces in the name, it is not going to be easy. When there are spaces in the username for example Sun Jaya then the web server passes is as Sun+Jaya then before the username is processed you have to convert + into space. This of course only allows one space and not more than one space.
