html editor and mac?
Hi, will folks using macintosh computers be able to use the built in html editor in fileman? If yes, do they need to be using a particular browser?

Thanks,

bob

Hopefully soon.. Right now it uses a control in Internet Explorer that is only available for windows (blame ms on that). =) We are working on one that will work in mozilla as well.

Cheers,

Alex

Have you looked into the following editor?

Edit Live!
http://www.ephox.com/

works in both IE 5.0 and above (mac and pc), along with Safari (mac)...had to install this editor for one of my clients in their CMS system since the other editor we were using XPEditor only worked with IE 5.0 and above in Windows (relying on ActiveX controls).

Also, RealObjects' Edit On is supposed to work on Mac and PC platforms:

Also, don't know if you've seen the following, but they are programmed to work in Mozilla browsers:

Buh Bye!

I see the html editor in the forum is working through mozilla (i am testing right now), has the template for fileman been updated to take advantage of this new feature? If not, will it be soon, or can the code be copied and pasted to make it work?

Thanks,

bob
