The paths won't be the same. Simply saying "its Debian" doesn't mean we can guess your values ;)
A good way to find your path is through a very simple script.

use Data::Dumper;
print "Content-Type: text/html \n\n";
print "<pre>" .Dumper(%ENV) . "</pre>";
Then CHMOD to 755, and run from your browser. Look for "path" in the results... should give the answer away
