scgi wrappers
AAAH This things doing my head in Unsure

Cpanel with scgiwrap installed...
  1. install scgiwrap as instructed on cpanel
  2. installed fileman
  3. moved images & private folders out of scgi-bin to work properly
  4. majority of commands all work okay
  5. when I try to edit any pages or click on any image files using explorer or netscape the following error message keeps cropping up... "scgiwrap: Cannot stat cgi script/binary. Does it exist?"
  6. The copy, move, delete, protect, everything else all seems to work fine

Is this a viewer/editor problem again?

Is it the cgi-wrapper causing problems with the editor?

Need to get this one sorted asap please Wink

This is a problem with FileMan. I have the same issue. The work around is to Check the file that you want to work on and click on "Edit" in the bottom window.

I've already emailed Gossamer and informed them of the problem, why it's happening and a solution. Maybe it'll be fixed in a 2.01 release, or something.

It's not a small fix, but it is simple one.

It's always the simple ones isn't it (hee hee)

Didn't even try that - worked first time when I went in.

Hope they do fix that one in the next release

Thanks guice

No problem. They are a local Auckland international Software company I work for ( local US Hire ). Hadn't been to Auckland yet, myself, but they make themselves sound pretty big over there. /shrug

Maybe I'll finally make it over there one day.

And Alex, thanks .. Hope you'll also look into/fix the prolem Mozilla has having with Fileman, too ( see other post as well ;) )
