Since upgrading to 1.1.0, there have been some issues. I wasn't aware of since
it was a beta site, but a new beta testor can't get past the coppa error.

I had to change the setup field to prof_birthday, from just "Birthday"

and also the prof_birthday field will not display in the signup form, so users
can't enter their birthday.

I've looked at the .def, resynced, etc. No go.

Ok, of course after playing with this for day, and posting, I realized that the "birthday" field was checked in the sign_up_restricted box, for some reason.

What happened, or didn't happen during the upgrade still eludes me though.

This program seems far from finished.
