I know we are running an old version of GComm (1.0.1), but are there no hooks in this version?

I'm a little weary of upgrading, as we have quite a few "mods", which are actually in the code (and not something I feel up to upgrading, yet!).

I thought that there would be a do_func hook, but there doesn't seem to be?
