When a user try to subscribe they get that

Unable to load Gossamer Forum because: Bareword "PERSIST" not allowed while "strict subs" in use at /Library/WebServer/Documents/forum/admin/GForum.pm line 113. Compilation failed in require at /Library/WebServer/Documents/community/private/lib/Community/Apps/Local/GForum.pm line 282.

Gforum it's the latest version, it's loaded as recommended in mod_perl.
Community is 0.9 (waiting a plugin for upgrading to the long awaited 1.0.2)

I think it has something to do with the mod_perl startup.pl configuration. I'll point you to this document http://www.gossamer-threads.com/...rum.cgi?post=263164; and hopefully it will tell you all you need to get it up and running.

To me it just sounds like the modules are getting loaded in possibly an order that causes problems.

I wrote to support and Jagerman gave me the trick.. It was due to a different GT lib used by Gforum and Community. By replacing the older Community one with the newer Gforum one solved the issue
