dbsql installation error

dbsql installation error
When I try to install the Community plugin with DBSQL I get the following error:

Error running installation code: Bareword "PERSIST" not allowed while "strict subs" in use at /path/cgi-bin/control/lib/GT/Config.pm line 295. Compilation failed in require at /path/cgi-bin/control/lib/Community.pm line 20. BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at /path/cgi-bin/control/lib/Community.pm line 20. Compilation failed in require at (eval 4) line 77.

Can anyone help?
