I am trying to install MySQLMan and I have run into some problems running mysql.cgi This is the error message:Error loading required libraries

Reason: [Fri Oct 6 21:23:39 2000] mysql.cgi: Can't load
'/usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.005/i386-linux/auto/DBD/mysql/mysql.so' for
module DBD::mysql:
/usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.005/i386-linux/auto/DBD/mysql/mysql.so: undefined
symbol: uncompress at /usr/lib/perl5/5.00503/i386-linux/DynaLoader.pm line

My hosting provider says I should use DBI instead of DBD. Will this address my problem? And if it will how do I go about using DBI?

Sorry, but your hosting provide hasn't installed DBD::mysql properly. They need to reinstall/install properly the DBD::mysql module before you can use the program.
