I'm trying to upgrade a current database of mine from a flat-file database into a MySQL database. The reason for this is that flat-file database is quite slow for a database of around 500 entries. Searches took forever!
Anyway, I don't know nothing about MySQL but I'm having fun learning! Installed MySQL on my test server and now I have installed your great web interface and I've for all the tutorials grabbed off the net in front of me to guide me.
After a day playing around with various things; I've managed to import the majority of my database into a MySQL table and I'm now off to learn how to use my MySQL database with Perl for the Web.
