Installation MySQLMan
Please inform me:
1) where I can find the GT_Base and GT Template files to install MySQLMan software without problems;
2) where I can find clear README.txt or explanation;
3) why Gossamer-Threads permits that members and veterans speculate in the forums ?

They are in the GT folder...it is best to de-compress the tar.gz file via telnet or use the default folder structure and upload all files/folders to your server if you have used a ZIP program to de-compress the files/folders.

The README file that comes with MySQLMan is pretty self-explanatory in terms of installing and targetshooting problems. In addition, there are many more help files in recent versions that you can use as soon as you get the script installed properly.

Speculate?? May be it is because newbies and members are not clear in their initial postings, thus speculation of problems is pretty legitimate, IMHO.

Hi Filippo,

I found the README to be a little out of date myself. If you still want to give it a try please post any errors you are getting. There isn't much we can do to help without knowing what the problem is. Make sure you force upload the files in ASCII and not binary including all the .pm files.

If you download MySQLMan from GT it comes with ALL the files you need. Unzip it locally or remotely (if locally, upload with the same directory structure), chmod mysql.cgi 755 and that is all you need to do.
