Version 1.03 Available
We've released a new version of MySQLMan which is now available! Changes include:

- extensive online documentation + help.
- ability to upload files for import.
- ability to upload files to run sql queries.
- ability to dump export to the screen as well as to file.
- ability to select where to add new columns too.
- store login information in cookie (optional)
- fix bug on some mysql installations where a database name is required to login.
- made select lists a little nicer in import/export.
- allow comments in sql monitor.
- set tabbing in insert record.
- few minor bug fixes.

Let me know what you think!

Cheers,

Alex

Totally cool! Just copied it _over_ the files in my directory (../links/admin/mysqlman) on Solaris 7 and it worked straight off! (Even with MSIE <G>) Haven't tried the cookie thing, or used it enough to see if there is that cookie problem still, but that was an MSIE thing...

Is this sort of help going to be built into all the products?

Will this help work with the plug-in system, so modules can install their own help? (Or even create 3rd party help files to install?)

Thanks for the update, Alex. Would it be possible to add version numbers to the .zip files? It would help to know which version we are downloading.

Thank you.

Eliot Lee

Hello Alex,

Look's great!!

I tried the sqldump and that worked good, maybe you can put extra info in the help about the options ?
Is it possible to make a option (checkbox) under file called overwrite existing file in sqldump ?

That cookie thing didn't work good here with netscape 4.74, but with direct_connect => 1
you can automatic login everywhere :)....

Keep up the good work.

Regards startpoint.
