I did manage to import from flat text database to mysql.
I used to have a :
$rec{'Details'} =~ s/\n/<BR>/g;
to make the
on the body whenever someone hit the enter.

Now, after using mysql, it appears ``` signs which represent the
thing.

Has anyone experience this? how can we prevent the `` signs?
