Has the code been changed?

I went into a forum and read a few new posts (not all) but when I went back they were all white icons like I'd read them. Usually they stay yellow.

Has there been a change in the way it works?

I wasn't sure whether to add this to the "NEW (again)" thread so you can move it there if necessary.
