I'm comparing different forums and I really like yours but I'm wondering what are the differences between Gossamer, Vbulletin and SimpleMachines because the features seem to be the same. Am I wrong?

Also: do I have to pay 200 dollars per year or just once?

Finally, are the updates easy to install, like in one or two steps not looking in the code and change line x and line x, etc.?
