Am I to understand that dbman don't work with apache right now?

DBMAN works on most (if not all) operating systems and platforms, including Netscape Enterprise Server, Windows NT and Novell. Your latest comments are quite confusing...How can you modify records, but not login? Which login are you referring to (regular users or admin)?

What I would recommend doing is double check your user permissions in the default.cfg file and also the permissions of your files.
In terms of user permissions, double check them with the permissions listed on the following web site:

Well I can create records but can't get the login to work. Did you make any modifications?

That did the trick. The default password file supplied in the zip file wouldn't work with apache

Glad it worked. However, that is strange that the default.pass did not work for you. It worked fine for me on both Apache v.1.2.1 and 1.3.
