CGI ERROR
I have most of DBMan set up now, but am still getting this error. It brings up the log-in box, but since I don't have a log-in yet it won't let me any further. Do I need to manually edit a log-in for myself?

Thanks!

P.S. Looks like DBman is going to be everything I need. Just hope I can get it to function.

This is a listing of my directory I'm working with. It seems I'm having difficulty with permissions. I'm trying to change the artist.pl file with "chmod 644" and the star next to it disapears. How do I change it back to an executable?

Hey! Yeah! That was part of it. I forgot to mention I remembered that part. The part I don't know is how to get past the login. And where is my footer?

I'm sure there are multiple problems here at work.

Thanks

Make sure you have "default.pass" defined as the password file in .cfg. Use the file that came with the original DBMan package.

Log on to your database, using admin/admin". Click the "Admin" link. Add a user name and password that you want to use and be sure to select all the checkboxes at the bottom of the page. Click the button to add the user name. Log off the database.

Log on to your database again, this time using the username and password you just added in the above step. Click the "Admin" link. Delete the user "admin" and any others you want to delete.

There's other ways to do this, too, but I think this is the least confusing.

The footer does not appear on the login page because you can't do anything until after you log in. No point in tempting someone with something they can't do. Smile

BTW, I just went to your site and got an error. Are you sure you uploaded the files in ASCII mode?
