Hello;

Is their a way to change the Admin login name and password? Along with removing the admin/admin, guest/guest, thing from the main screen. I mean come on you might as well remove ALL security from it. What good is it if anybody can get in and change things around?

Edit the sub html_login_form in the html.pl file.

Of course there is once you get your script up and running that is one of the first things you should do... go into admin and assign a new name and password giving admin rights, and then login using your new admin name and delete the others.

Temporary logins are only setup for your convenience to be able to easily create your own.

There is nothing you should need to change on the login form.

Uh...actually you should remove the login information that IS posted in the login form via the subroutine I posted above.

Seems to me that your question was concerning how to change the admin login and password.

Log in with username/password admin/admin.

Click the Admin link in the footer menu.

Add whatever username and password you want for yourself. Be sure to check all of the boxes at the bottom of the page.

Click the Update/Create User button.

Go back to the login page.

Enter your new username and password.

Again, click the Admin link.

In the select field, find the admin username. Click the Delete button.
