I finally found a free server that gives cgi access, but it only has perl 5.0 installed, is there a version of DBMan that runs on Perl 5.0???

No. DBMan requires at least version 5.003. But the server can upgrade to the latest version for free by picking up the distribution at www.activestate.com . I would think the server would be willing to do this, since it doesn't cost anything.
