normally character a-z are allowed for the user ID. I want to change this so that it accepts an e- mail entry when a user sign up the first time.
What phrase do I have to change and how.

This referres to "Send E- Mail when user added" from Nadr.

Not recommended as the username is passed along in the URL. I would try adding a new field to the permissions file (not straight forward, but there are some threads on it).
