Hi Stormer,

Yes, dbman works on NT.

This is my configuration (which I am hopefully dumping for a Linux server)

NT 4.0
Perl 5.00502
Netscape FastTrack server

You might have to change the way you enter the file names on your config file since dos uses backslashes (which is an escape character).

Hi Stormer,

my experience is that Dbman works on NT. Like Jaime I have WINNT40 but with IIS4.0 and recently installed ActivePerl 5.005_02 build507 which was the solution to my problems.

Success,
Werner

DBMan works fine on NT/95/98 as long as your perl supports the crypt() function. Get the latest perl if you don't have a working crypt().

On 95/98, you can't lock files, so I wouldn't recommend it for a production website (as well as numerous other reasons).

Cheers,

Alex
