thats what i changed : $db_dir_url = "http://www.henningalbert.de/cgi-bin/dbman";
#!/usr/bin/perl
host is a unix-server
i uploaded the files to cgi-bin/dbman and chmod all files like the readme.txt told me.
after that i chmoded the dbman-director 777.
i tried to run the db.cgi and only a blanket screen showed up. (www.henningalbert.de/cgi-bin/dbman/db.cgi )
if you go to http://www.henningalbert.de/help.html you can find db-cgi, default.cfg and html.pl as txt-file ( there are 3 links )

thx for your help ( I am german and i hope you can understand my english )

I tried the URL you posted, but I got an "unable to locate server" message.

You do not need to chmod the dbman directory.

Without the correct URL, I'm afraid I can't tell you much else.
