file upload problem
Maybe somoene has an idea of this problem,
but when someone submits the form, it doesnt give me an error message, although it does not upload the file.
the correct permissions are set , and the paths are correct.. it just prints the default image

any ideas?

Just a guess, but are you uploading the images into or within your cgi-bin directory?

I remember that some folks had problems if their images were not outside of the cgi-bin directory.

If this is not what is causing the problem, then please let us know what version of the file upload you are using. Is it the latest version?

If dated as last modified: 29 Apr 2000 then it's the latest Smile

Have you checked to see if the file was actually uploaded?

I went back and looked at your .cfg file and I see that you are uploading into the same directory as the DBMan files. I know your system directory is not called a cgi-bin, but could it be set so that only executable files are allowed in that directory?

The only other thing I can think of is that your server does not have the CGI.pm module installed. You can check it by installing PerlDiver (available at http://www.scriptsolutions.com/...rams/free/perldiver/). Just install it and run it from your browser and, if it's there, it will show up.

If it's on your system, you might try changing the upload directory, just to see if that's the problem.

Once again, you have me stumped! Smile
