can i import a normal existing dbase file

I'm not sure what the format of your dbase file is. DBMan uses a flat, delimited ASCII file for its records. If your dbase file is a flat, delimited ASCII file, you should be able to just copy it over.

One thing to watch out for is that many other programs put quotation marks around the fields. That won't work with DBMan. But any other delmiter will.
