I am trying to get the dbman running. Could anyone send me the exact paths for a local server. Using c:/httpd/htdocs/index.htm and c:/httpd/cgi-bin/dbman/all files. Or the Server http://www.vantol.de/test/dbindex.htm
and http://www.vantol.de/test/cgi-bin/"all files". Just sending me the default-files ( html,db,auth ) of the dbman-demo with the exact paths would be perfect but however... . Many Thx. Giorgio

Thank for your mail.

Like I said I am using a windows setup ( Omnihttpd) to test it, there for I changed db.cgi to db.pl.
When do the config as you wrote. I alway just get a blank site, no error on http://127.0.0.1/cgi-bin/dbman/db.pl
Do have to use a query maybe?
My setup:
# URL of the directory dbman resides in. No Trailing Slash Please.
$db_dir_url = "http://127.0.0.1/cgi-bin/dbman";
# URL of dbman.
$db_script_url = $db_dir_url . "/db.cgi";
# Full Path and File name of the database file.
$db_file_name = $db_script_path . "/default.db";
# Full path and file name of the counter file.

and

# If you run into problems, set $db_script_path to the full path
# to your directory.
$db_script_path = "c:/httpd/cgi-bin/dbman";

any idea?
