As suggested in this forum, I asked my hosting provider to increase the CPU timeout rate for the validation script so it won't timeout when I try and validate. They came back and asked... how much time do I need? It's currently set to a default time. Here's exactly what my hosting provider said:
"We can certainly look into this for you, depending on the type of
script it is. Is it built with Perl or PHP? How much time will the
script need to be completed? If you can provide us with these
answers, we can take a look and see what we can do for you. We
currently have the timeouts set at the default levels, so as to not
allow any script to take up too much of our servers' resources, but if
the increase is not too much, we will do our best to accomodate you."
