I would like to know . . . If all my .cgi files has the correct path to perl can that cause the rest all of them to give an error message or would I just get an error message when trying to access the one with the incorrect path to perl.
for example,
if jump.cgi is correct
if modify.cgi is correct
but add.cgi is incorrect
would I probably get an error message (500 internal server error) when I access jump.cgi or modify.cgi
the reason I ask is because I recently changed servers and everything was working fine until the change. Now when I click on any of the .cgi files listed above I get "500 Internal Server Error". When take a look at my files in the admin folder I noticed that one of those files still reference my old server path to perl and the rest of them are ok. Could that one cause all of them to not work.
on my old server the path to perl was usr/bin/perl and the new is usr/local/bin/perl
