CGIWrap and FileMan

CGIWrap and FileMan

I have installed FileMan 1.01 on Sun SparcUltra with Solaris 7.
The tool is ok and now I already installed CGIWrap to
increase the security.
When I call FileMan from CGIWrap 3.6 the file created has
the owner nobody not the user.

I create a directory but is the same.Why ?

I expected that the new files have the owner "user" not
"nobody".

Probably the configuration is not correctly but i don't where.
Someone has an example?

Thanks,

Alberto Toietta

Uh...that is a common process of creating files via the web browser...which assigns the user as nobody...for more information on this process, search the support forum for nobody.

Some other things to consider.....

FP changes ownership to *webmaster*
FTP changes ownership to *yourusername*
Files produced by the server such as logs/stats are owned by httpd or root.
