we installed the free fileman.pkg file and it works fine. We like the functionality and want to have the add user functions but don't want
to lose functionality already present. We expect to have to uninstall
the free version before installing the multiuser version so there is no problem with keeping existing permissions etc..

If we buy the full multiuser version will we be able to easily
install it and still have the virtual sites locked into their directories?

Will each virtual site have the ability to manage their own users and directories or do we lose that in the full version?

We seached the archive but did not see answers for this specific
area.

Unfortunately, no, this won't work "out of the box". The multi user version only supports one admin managing a set of users. It sounds like you would need a separate installation for each virtual site. You could buy the multi user version and set it up for a single virtual, and lock them into their directory, but not one copy for all virtuals.

Thanks, not exactly what I had hoped but we understand a code enhancement
would have to be made to account for virtual admins and securing each virtual.
