con't unzip the tar file
when i use fileman create a tar file at server side.

i use another tar to unzip the tar file, it can't unzip to disk at my local machine.

how ???

Hi,

It's not a zip file, but rather a tar file.

You can unarchive it using Winzip, or similiar program that handles tars.

i know the tar file type.

and i use another perl tar.pm to get file list inside tar file and expand out.

but it no work.

Hi,

Does it untar using the tar program, or a program like winzip, perhaps it's tar.pm? I just tried it now, and it untar'd fine. Did you ftp the file in ascii mode perhaps?
