I am trying to install mysqlman. I unzipped the files to a directory mysqlman and FTP'd in binary to my webhost. I get the following message

connection failed: Host 'xxx.xxx.xxx.xx' is not allowed to connect to this MySQL server

Try using localhost. Your hosting company probably has MySQL server installed in your web server.

Also, it could be a permission problem that your system admin will have to straighten out. Doesn't sound like a MySQLMan problem.

Yes, I agree with Eliot Lee that this is your permission system problem, not mysqlman.

If you want to use xxx.xxx.xxx as hostname, you should an account to you mysql database with hostname is xxx.xxx.xxx
